An engineer from Kherson, rebuilding one careful job at a time.

Hi, I'm Oleksandr Stanislavskiyi. Most people call me Alex.

I was born in Kherson, Ukraine and early on, I realized nobody was going to hand me a future, so I knew I had to build one with my own two hands. After earning a master’s at Kherson State University, I worked as an engineer and technician, often refrigeration equipment.

Later I ran small businesses of my own, fixing and selling coffee machines and bicycles. I have always been drawn to how things work, taking them apart and making them work again.

For several years I also volunteered with children who grew up with very little guidance. We organized camps and activities so they could see that a hard start in life does not determine your fate.

Then the war came to Kherson, and the home I had built there was lost. I worked in Poland, Germany and Hungary, and in Poland I started a football club for Ukrainians living far from home. In 2023 I came to beautiful Canada to start again, first in the Okanagan and Calgary, and now in Vancouver.

Honestly, starting over in a new country has not been easy, and the last year tested me more than I can put into a few lines. What keeps me going is simple. I show up when I say I will, I do precise work, and I am honest about what I can and cannot do. If a job is outside my skills, I will tell you or refer you to a specialist. If it is something I do well, I will treat your home the way I would treat my own.

Every job helps me rebuild a life here, and I am grateful to every homeowner who trusts me with theirs.
