Yard Cleanup and Leaf Removal in Vancouver

Wet leaves on paths, stairs and patios turn slippery and stain concrete and wood. I clear them, along with the overgrowth and debris that builds up along fences and side passages.

I work tidy. Leaves go into your green bin or into bags I take away, and paths are swept clean when I leave.

What's included

Every job is scoped with you before it starts. A typical job can include the following.

  • Leaf raking, blowing and removal
  • Clearing side passages and fence lines
  • Patio and garden tidy-ups
  • Gutters you can reach from the ground, cleared by hand
  • Bagging and hauling yard waste
  • Small concrete and paving stone repairs

What Vancouver homeowners should know

Most of Vancouver's street and garden trees drop their leaves from mid October through November, so fall cleanups are busiest then. Many homeowners book one cleanup early and a second once the trees are bare. The City of Vancouver green bin takes leaves and yard trimmings, and I can fill it or haul the extra.

Common questions

Do you take the leaves away?

Yes. I bag the leaves and either use your green bin or take them away, whichever you prefer.

Can you come back regularly through the fall?

Yes. Many homeowners book a cleanup every two or three weeks until the trees are bare.

Do you clean gutters?

Only gutters I can reach safely from the ground or a short ladder. For second storey gutters, a gutter company with the right equipment is the safer choice.

How do you price a job?

I look at your photos or come and see the job, then give you a fixed price for the agreed work before anything starts. If I find something unexpected, I stop and talk to you before doing anything extra.

Which areas do you cover?

Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond and New Westminster. If you are just outside those, send a text and ask.

What should I send for a quote?

A sentence about the job, two or three phone photos and your neighbourhood or nearest cross street. That is usually enough for a first answer the same day.
