Drywall Repair and Patching in Vancouver
Door handles, moving furniture, old shelf anchors and settling all leave marks in drywall. Small and medium patches are quick to fix when they are done properly.
A good patch disappears. I fill, tape where needed, sand smooth, prime and paint so you cannot see where the damage was.

What's included
Every job is scoped with you before it starts. A typical job can include the following.
- Patching holes from handles, anchors and accidents
- Repairing cracks around doors and windows
- Fixing dents and gouges
- Sanding, priming and painting the patch to match
- Dust control and cleanup
What Vancouver homeowners should know
In Vancouver rentals, drywall patching is one of the most common jobs before a move-out inspection. Older homes also get hairline cracks around doors and windows as the house moves with the seasons.
Common questions
Can you match my wall colour?
If you have the leftover paint, I use that. If not, I can get it colour matched from a chip of the wall.
How long does a patch take to dry?
Small patches can be painted the same day. Larger repairs need a second visit once the filler is fully dry.
Do you fix water damaged drywall?
Once the leak is fixed and the wall is dry, yes. The source of the water has to be found and repaired first, usually by a plumber or roofer.
How do you price a job?
I look at your photos or come and see the job, then give you a fixed price for the agreed work before anything starts. If I find something unexpected, I stop and talk to you before doing anything extra.
Which areas do you cover?
Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver, Richmond and New Westminster. If you are just outside those, send a text and ask.
What should I send for a quote?
A sentence about the job, two or three phone photos and your neighbourhood or nearest cross street. That is usually enough for a first answer the same day.
